It is difficult to put into words the kindness & compassion shown to me & my family by Theresa & Berry. Theresa was especially kind & so patient as we navigated the unknown at such a difficult time. She provided us with the most wonderful resources & solutions. Because of Theresa, we were able to give our parents, who were being buried together, the most beautiful, peaceful & heartwarming send off. My parents were serenaded by the most wonderful mariachi’s, prayed over by the most eloquent Padre Alonzo & Theresa arranged for a military honor guard that honored our beautiful father with a 21 gun salute. Theresa made all this happen & we are left with more beautiful memories. Thank you Theresa. My only regret is that you don’t live next door! Forever grateful. Thank you

My brother passed on July 6th, I walked in and when I tell you Barry was totally awesome. He was so kind and had so much patience with me. After we completed the paperwork he prayed with and for me. Unity Funeral Home just did my dad's service last week. My dad requested Unity Funeral Home; its right next to Notre Dame Catholic Church where my dad had been going for 50 years. My dad made a great choice; they where great. Mary,Theresa and Berry thank you so much for the help you gave me and my family. My dad was my hero and y'all took care of him with great respect. Unity Funeral Home has been truly Heaven Sent at a time of loss, sorrow, confusion and fear. The care and compassion and attention to detail I never thought possible. My dad first used Unity Funeral Home 15 years ago when my brother passed away . When my dad passed away he left instructions for my mom and I to call Mary and her son Berry, they took care of us as loving family would. When my mother recently passed away unexpectedly of course I called Mary and Barry they sent Teresa to my house she helped me honor my mom in a way I never could have imagined. As I look back I realize my tears are no longer of loss and sorrow but of gratitudes to Unity funeral home and to Mary , Barry and Teresa who made the hardest time of my life the most beautiful. I call them family now because I hope they will remain in my life forever and help my children when it's my time or my husband's time. There is no greater Loving Hands here on Earth ...

Mary and her staff at unity funeral home had such compassion and care in preparing my mother for her final resting place. We knew what to expect since we received the same highest quality service when my father died in 2006. Both of my parents had Catholic mass in Houston and burials in New Orleans. Mary and her staff managed all the Arrangements flawlessly and on time per our date requests. Unity staff went beyond the call of duty to make sure that the arrangements would not cause undue stress on myself or any of the family. And they certainly succeeded. I told Mary the other day that I hope my son brings me there when it is my time to leave this earth.
