Wilfredo had several endearing nicknames which included Willie, Wiloncho, the "Yo" man and most beloved, the "Night Night" man.Willie was born in Weslaco, Texas. Our parents relocated to Kingsville, Texas shortly afterwards. He enjoyed a wonderful childhood, graduated from H.M. King High School and joined the United States Army. While stationed in Germany, his primary objective was to repair and keep all vehicles maintained. His dedication and discipline was rewarded with a Certificate Of Achievement for his outstanding work. Willie was Honorably Discharged after six years of service. (1969 - 1975) Upon returning back home to Houston, Texas, Willie had three passions: Love for his Country, Dallas Cowboys (pretty epic), and Lotto Tickets. He infused his enthusiasm into our lives in the smallest ways, but it always had a profound impact. "YO" will be missed by all, but never forgotten when we get ready for "Night Night".
Memorial services will be held Saturday, November 25, 2017 at 10:00 AM at Unity Funeral Home Chapel, 7730 Boone Rd., Houston, Texas 77072. Visitation will be from 10:00 A.M until 2:00 P.M. Memorial Service will be from 11:00 A.M until 12:00 P.M.
Because Wilfredo loved the Dallas Cowboys, feel free to wear your Dallas Cowboys attire or white and blue to represent what he loved.
