Robert Louis Nelson

Robert Louis Nelson was born was born on June 17,1977. He was born in Shreveport, Louisiana to Georgia Lee Nelson and Robert Charles Hamilton. He was Baptized into Christ at the age of 9 while a member of Mary Evergreen Baptist Church of Grand Cane, Louisiana.   Robert acquired his GED at the Adult Center in Mansfield, Louisiana.
He was a very smart young man and held many interests, which included reading Popular Mechanics magazines, comic books, working on big rigs and classic cars. Most recently, Robert was an avid gamer, who could spend hours playing video games. His favorite games to play were Grand Turisumo and War Frame.
During his lifetime, Robert worked as a cross-country truck driver and as a security guard for many years.
On September 21, 2022, Robert departed this life. He was preceded in death by his mother, Georgia Lee Nelson; his father, Robert Charles Hamilton; and a brother, Gregory Hamilton.
He leaves, to cherish his memory: two sisters, Leatrice Denise Nelson of Houston, T and Tiffany Monique Odum(Willis) of Shreveport, LA; two aunts, Mae B.(Kate) and Audrey Hamson of Indianapolis, IN; and one uncle Wayne Goodwin(Artavia); and a host of cousins and close friends. Robert loved his mother, father and his little sister, Leatrice, and was a good friend to all who knew and

Memorial Service is scheduled on Saturday, October 1, 2022 at Unity Funeral Home Chapel, 7730 Boone Rd, Houston, Texas   77072 from 10:00 AM  -  1:00 PM.
