Pierre Jaquess

Pierre Jaquess, 70 years of age, of Houston, Texas, passed away on October 24, 2018.      Pierre was born on August 25, 1948 in St. Louis, Missouri to James and Lavell Jaquess.

Pierre was baptized as one of Jehovah's Witnesses on February 9, 1975.  Pierre continued to make spiritual progress and eventually appointed as a Ministerial Servant, and later an Elder.  He also became a regular Pioneer (dedicating 70 hours a month in various forms of the field ministry including prison ministry),  As the Theocratic Ministry School Overseer for Southwest Congregation, he helped many bible students make spiritual progress.   He was also priviledged to work in Disaster Relief and host Pioneer Meetings on several occasions.

Pierre leaves behind his wife Pamela of 21 years.

Pierre was blessed with 19 grandchildren

He leaves behind a host of nieces and nephews, great-nieces and great nephews and other special family members.

Services for Pierre will be held on Friday, November 2, 2018 at Unity Funeral Home, 7730 Boone Rd, Houston, Texas   77072 from 4:00 PM - 9:00 PM.

The family of Pierre Jaquess we offer our heartfelt thanks to the many friends and family who stayed with us at the hospital from the start to the end, nearly 24 hours.   Offering comfort, support and prayers.   To those 20 or so friends who all objected in unison to letting me drive myself home from the hospital, also those, who visited our home, prepared meals, washed dishes, attended the viewing and/or memorial service and those coordinating and donating for the repast and all who provided emotional and practical support for us at this difficult time.   For those who telephoned, traveled long distance, sent floral arrangements, cards, messages of condolences, tireless efforts of putting together a beautiful program and multi-media presentations and those who helped in any way, please accept our deepest gratitude and LOVE.
