Mirta G. (Guevara) Juarez

Mirta G. Juarez, de 79 años de edad, de Houston, Texas, falleció el 9 de abril de 2022. Mirta nació el 14 de noviembre de 1942 en El Salvador de Valentin e Isabel Guevara. Mirta es precedida en muerte por sus padres Valentin e Isabel Guevara, y su hermana Inez Duran.

Los sobrevivientes incluyen a su esposo durante 30 años, Martín Juárez. Sus hijos: Isabel (Benito), y Alberto Antonio (Yesenia). Nietos: Tiahna Nicole Resendez, Jacob Dylan Resendez, Andrew Benjamin Resendez y Joshua Albert Servellon. Mirta siempre será recordada por amar a sus nietos, familiares y amigos. Sus nietos siempre fueron colocados antes que ella. Vivió su vida para amar a sus nietos al máximo y llenar sus vidas de risas. Mujer fuerte y obstinada, fue el pilar de su familia. Lideraba con el ejemplo y creía en ayudar a los demás sin esperar nada a cambio. Le encantaba hornear pasteles, especialmente para cada uno de sus seres queridos. Le encantaba bailar y viajar. Era una adicta a la salud y no dudaría en ofrecer su saludable receta de batido matutino. Será recordada por su pasión por la vida, su fuerte fe en Dios y su hermosa risa. Mirta nació en El Salvador y era la hija menor. Fue muy responsable y confiable desde temprana edad. A una edad temprana, Mirta ingresó a una escuela de costura y aprendió a coser sus propios vestidos. Estaba orgullosa de cada una de sus creaciones. A los dieciocho años, se unió a una escuela de cosmetología y se graduó con honores. En 1974, debido a dificultades familiares, tomó la decisión más difícil de su vida al dejar a su hija de cinco años y a su hijo de ocho meses para trabajar temporalmente en los Estados Unidos como auxiliar de enfermería. Quería buscar una vida mejor para ella y sus hijos y decidió dedicar su energía y enfocarse en traer a sus hijos de El Salvador a vivir con ella. Ese año se convirtió en 48 años de arduo trabajo para criar y educar a sus dos hijos y obtener su propia casa. Estaba extremadamente orgullosa de trabajar por todo lo que poseía. Su alta ética de trabajo y su fuerte fe continuaron hasta el final.

El velorio y el rosario se llevarán a cabo en Unity Funeral Home, 7730 Boone Rd., Houston, Texas, el lunes 18 de abril de 2022 de 5:00 p. m. a 8:00 p. m. La misa de la iglesia se llevará a cabo en la Iglesia Notre Dame, 7720 Boone Rd. Houston, Tx   77072 el martes 19 de abril de 2022 a las 10:00 a.m.  Después de la misa, una procesión conducirá al cementerio para el entierro. Mirta G. Juarez, 79 years of age, of Houston, Texas, passed away on April 9, 2022. Mirta was born on November 14, 1942 in El Salvador to Valentin and Isabel Guevara.

Mirta is preceded in death by her parents Valentin and Isabel Guevara, and her sister Inez Duran. Survivors include her husband of 30 years, Martin Juarez.   Her children:   Isabel (Benito), and Alberto Antonio (Yesenia).    Grandchildren:  Tiahna Nicole Resendez, Jacob Dylan Resendez, Andrew Benjamin Resendez, and Joshua Albert Servellon.   

Mirta will always be remembered for loving her grandchildren, family and friends. Her grandchildren were always placed before herself. She lived her life to love her grandchildren to the fullest and fill their lives with laughter. A strong and willful woman, she was the pillar of her family. She led by example and believed in helping others without expecting anything in return.  She loved to bake cakes, especially for each of her loved ones.  She loved to dance and travel.  She was a health addict and would not hesitate to offer her healthy morning smoothie recipe. She will be remembered for her passion for life, her strong faith in God and her beautiful laughter. 

Mirta was born in El Salvador and was the youngest daughter.  She was very responsible and dependable from an early age.  At a young age, Mirta joined a sewing school and learned to sew her own dresses. She was proud of each of her creations.  At eighteen, she joined a cosmetology school and graduated with honors.  In 1974, due to family difficulties, she made the hardest decision of her life to leave her five year old daughter and eight month old son to temporarily work in the United States as a nurse’s aide. She wanted to pursue a better life for her and her children and decided to devote her energy and focus on bringing her children from El Salvador to live with her.  That one year turned into 48 years of hard work to raise and educate her two children and obtain her own house. She was extremely proud of working for everything she owned.  Her high work ethic and strong faith continued until the end.

Visitation and rosary will be held at Unity Funeral Home, 7730 Boone Rd., Houston, Texas  on Monday, April 18, 2022 from 5:00 PM  -  8:00 PM.           

Church mass will be held at Notre Dame Catholic Church, Houston, Texas  77072 on Tuesday, April 19, 2022 at 10:00 AM.    Following mass, a procession will lead to cemetery for burial.   Woodlawn Cemetery 1101 Antoine Dr.  Houston, Texas   77055
