Mary Helen Cruz

Mary Helen Garcia, 84 years of age, passed away on June 11, 2025.   Mary was born in Harlingen Tx November 17,1940 to Manuel and Anita Garcia.   She is predeceased by her parents Manuel and Anita Garcia, their daughter newborn daughter Sonia Cruz.

Mary leaves behind  her husband Gilbert Cruz of 68 beautiful years married, June 23, 2025 would have been their 69th wedding anniversary, her 5 children Eva Cruz (John), Sylvia Cruz, Gilbert Cruz Jr. (Maria), Richard Cruz (Belen), and Mary Helen Perez. Grandchildren:  Diego Sanchez, Monica Sanchez, Daniel Sanchez, Patricia Van Wright (Lawrence),  Janelle Sandoval, Joel  Cruz (Malonise) and Priscilla Coleman,  Paloma Romero (Jonathan), Oscar Perez, Chloe Perez (Collin), Levi Perez. Along with 30 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great grandchildren.    Her siblings:  Alicia Quintero, Manuel Talavera (Angela)

Retired from H.E.B as a loyal and hard worker, with may awards. Her favorite team was the Houston Astros, and never missed a game. She was young at heart, never missed an event that came into town, Disney on Ice, the Circus, she loved going on cruises.  Her fun loving spirit will be missed
