Maria Elena Ruiz Ramirez

Maria Elena Ruiz Ramirez, 60 years of age, of Katy, Texas passed away peacefully with her family by her side on August 16, 2025.   Maria was born in Mexico on October 11, 1964 to Mr. and Mrs. J. Jesus Ruiz Perez.

Left to mourn are her children Jackie Alviso and Sandra Alviso.  Grandchildren Saul Delgado Jr., Amy Delgado, Giselle Delgado, Sebastian Oviedo, Adriel Oviedo and one on the way.   Her siblings, nieces and nephews and many other loving family and friends.

Maria was a very talented woman, she loved crafting and needlework was her specialty, she loved to crochet and made many beautiful items.   She enjoyed cooking, enjoyed spending time with family, and enjoyed shopping.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, August 21, 2025 from 2:00 PM  to 8:00 PM at Unity Funeral Home, 7730 Boone Rd., Houston, Tx   77072.   Funeral Mass will be on Friday, August 22, 2025 at Notre Dame Catholic Church, 7720 Boone Rd., Houston, Tx   77072.   Visitation will be for 30 minutes starting at 1:00 PM in the church foyer.    Following mass, all will go in procession to Houston Memorial Gardens Cemetery for the burial.
