Maria de Los Angeles Macias Born August 2, 1958 – Monterrey, Nuevo León, Mexico Maria de Los Angeles Macias, lovingly known as Angela, was born on August 2, 1958, in Monterrey, Nuevo León, Mexico. She is survived by her five beloved brothers: Manuel de Jesús Macias, José Guadalupe Macias, Roberto Macias, Juan Macias, and Juan Carlos Macias. In 1989, she became a devoted member of St. Cyril of Alexandria Catholic Church, where she joined the choir and remained a cherished part of it for decades. Her voice and guitar were more than instruments—they were expressions of her soul. Music was not just a talent; it was her passion, her sanctuary, and her greatest joy. Angela gave of herself freely and unconditionally to those she loved. Her deep faith in God radiated through her daily life—through her kindness, her selflessness, and her unwavering love. At work, she was known for her reliability, generosity, and team spirit. Colleagues and friends often referred to her as “Maria Full of Grace,” a reflection of both her unshakable faith and her boundless compassion. Her devotion to Our Lady of Guadalupe was profound. Every December, she sang to her with heartfelt reverence, a tradition rooted in deep spiritual love. Angie lived a life of sacrifice, constantly putting others before herself, and in doing so, she touched countless lives. Singing was her heartbeat, her source of strength and serenity. Through music, she found healing, purpose, and connection. As a friend, she was unmatched—loyal, giving, and always present. She gave everything she had to those around her, never holding back. Her heart belonged to the ocean, where she found peace and joy. The rain, too, brought her comfort and renewal. Her choir family was her second home, and she was deeply loved by all who had the blessing to know her. Maria was a role model, a shining example of faith, love, and grace. A true child of God—one of a kind—and irreplaceable.
Though our hearts are heavy with her absence, we take comfort in knowing that Angela now rests in the eternal peace of God’s embrace. Her melody lives on in the lives she touched, the love she gave so freely, and the songs she sang so beautifully. We will carry her memory in every note, every prayer, and every act of kindness inspired by her example. Until we meet again, may her soul sing among the angels.
