In Loving Memory of Soledad Viray Kafka November 12, 1939 – July 3, 2026

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Soledad Viray Kafka, who peacefully departed this life in July 3, 2026 at the age of 86.

Born on November 12, 1939, in San Luis, Pampanga, Philippines, Soledad lived a life filled with love, generosity, and joy. She was known for her warm heart, welcoming spirit, and the happiness she brought to everyone around her.

She graduated from Centro Escolar University on March 21, 1959, and went on to build a dedicated career as an accountant at Chevron, where she worked from 1980 to 1996.

Soledad found joy in life’s simple pleasures. She loved to dance, preparing delicious meals for those she loved, and traveling to experience new places and create lasting memories with family and friends.

Above all, Soledad cherished her family. She has one son Louie Kafka, and her three married grandchildren, who will forever carry her love, wisdom, and cherished memories in their hearts.

Services are scheduled at Unity Funeral Home, 7730 Boone Rd., Houston, TX   77072 on Friday, July 10, 2026  from 4:00 pm to 9:00 PM
