Lawrence E. Wahmhoff, 80 years of age, and suffering from Alzheimer’s Dementia, passed away peacefully on October 21, 2025. Lawrence was born on October 26, 1944 in Baltimore, Maryland to Harold and Opal Wahmhoff. Lawrence was predeceased by his parents Harold and Opal Wahmhoff, and his Son John Wahmhoff, Granddaughter Krystal Wilson
Lawrence is survived by his wife of 45 years, Loretta D. Arango, Daughter, Karen Curran (Sean), Step-son Anthony Arango Jr. (Ginger). Grandchildren: Brittney Johnson (Harry), Hayli Arango. Great-Grandchildren: Emma Johnson, Harry Johnson Jr., Gavin Wilson. Brother, David Wahmhoff (Duane). Uncle, Doug Pauley (Mary Sue). Nephew, Daren Wahmhoff (Laura). Great-Nephew, Colton Wahmhoff. Also left to mourn his memory are many other family members and friends.
Lawrence was a Piping Designer and Project Manager for the Oil and Gas industry for 50 + years. Since retiring, he enjoyed long walks, visiting parks, bingo, playing cards, doing puzzles, and spending time with family and friends.
Lawrence loved the Lord and was an active member of Mission Bend Baptist Church for 45 years. He loved singing and was a member of the choir and sang many solos over the years. He also helped out with various jobs within the church.
Larry never enjoyed attention and that level of privacy will be respected with no funeral service as he requested.
