KATHLEEN ANNE COMEAUX

March 31, 1964 – February 03, 2021

With profound sadness we announce the passing of Kathy Anne, a loving mother, wife, daughter, sister and friend, on February 03, 2021 at the age of 56.  She passed away at her home with her devoted daughter at her side after a courageous 5-year battle with cancer.

Although born in Florida, Kathy Anne is a Houstonian through and through. After graduating from Alief Elsik High School, she took an administrative position at GC Services where she served for 37 years.  Kathy Anne was passionate about life and looked forward to the annual family camping trip at Easter every year.  As a member of the Ravenclaw house, one learns that Kathy Anne was an avid reader.  But to truly know Kathy Anne you have to understand crosses, roses, penguins, butterflies, Harry Potter and the color blue were adoring items to her.

Kathy Anne is predeceased by her mother, Kathleen O’Shaughnessy.  She is survived by her father, Harold O’Shaughnessy Jr;  husband, Bryan Comeaux; daughter, Bryanna Comeaux; sons, David Moore and Roger (Randi Lynn) Moore; siblings, Deborah Dowling, John (Yvonne) O’Shaughnessy and Carolee (Mark) Melton; along with her nieces and nephews, Chelsea O’Shaughnessy, Chris Garza, Tanya Dowling, Taylor (Curtis) Faldyn, Meghan Glankler, Kindle Melton; and her great-nephew, Jaxon Scholze.

Visitation will be held at Unity Funeral Home 7730 Boone Road Houston, TX  77072 on Friday, March 5th from 1 p.m. until 3 p.m.
