Juana (Aguilar) Contreras

Lamentamos el fallecimiento de una querida madre y abuela, Juana Contreras Aguilar, que nació el 20 de marzo de 1941 en San Luis Potosí, y murió en reposo eterno el 27 de abril de 2024, en Houston, a la edad de 83 años.

Juana era hija de Gerardo Aguilar Castillo y Margarita Hernández Coronado.

Ella es profundamente extrañada por un círculo devoto de sus hijos y sus cónyuges, que tienen el honor de celebrar su legado duradero; Rosario, Jesús (cónyuge Sylvia), Cruz (cónyuge Mauro), Humberto (cónyuge Cruz), Estela (cónyuge Mario), Gabriela (cónyuge Salvador), Irineo, Nelly, Miguel y Verónica (cónyuge Jay).

Cada uno de sus hijos refleja la fuerza y la compasión que les otorgó.

También era una orgullosa abuela de 38 nietos y 27 bisnietos.

Fue precedida en su viaje al Señor por su amado esposo, Genaro Contreras, con quien ahora se reúne en gracia y paz.

Su fallecimiento deja un vacío en los corazones de todos los que la conocieron.

La memoria de Juana vivirá a través de su familia y amigos, que la tendrán para siempre en sus corazones.

La familia se reunirá en una ceremonia para honrar la vida y la memoria de Juana.

Su espíritu estará consagrado para siempre en los corazones de aquellos que deja atrás.
 

Velorio 2 de mayo de 2024, 5:00 a las 8:00 PM Unity Funeral Home   7730 Boone Rd., Houston, Texas   77072.     Misa 3 de mayo de 2024 11:00 AM (la funeraria llega a las 10 am para una visita de una hora antes de la misa).    La siguiente procesion masiva conducira al cementerio de Forest Park Westheimer (Westheimer and Dairy Ashford) para el lugar de descanso final.

We mourn the passing of a beloved mother and grandmother, Juana Contreras Aguilar, who was born on March 20, 1941, in San Luis Potosi, and passed into eternal rest on April 27, 2024, in Houston, at the age of 83.

Juana was the daughter of Gerardo Aguilar Castillo and Margarita Hernandez Coronado.

She is profoundly missed by a devoted circle of children and their spouses, who have the honor of celebrating her enduring legacy; Rosario, Jesus (spouse Sylvia), Cruz (spouse Mauro), Humberto (spouse Cruz), Estela (spouse Mario), Gabriela (spouse Salvador), Irineo, Nelly, Miguel, and Veronica (spouse Jay).
Each of her children reflects the strength and compassion she bestowed upon them.

She was also a proud grandmother to 38 grandchildren and 27 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in her journey to the Lord by her beloved husband, Genaro Contreras, with whom she is now reunited in grace and peace.

Her passing leaves a void in the hearts of all who knew her.
Juana's memory will live on through her family and friends, who will forever hold her in their hearts.

The family will gather in a ceremony to honor the life and memory of Juana.
Her spirit will be forever enshrined in the hearts of those she leaves behind.
Her passing is not just a time of grief but an occasion to celebrate a life well-lived and a woman deeply loved

Visitation will be on Thursday, May 2, 2024 from 5:00 pm to 8:00 PM.     Catholic Mass to be held on Friday, May 3, 2024 at 11:00 AM (Funeral Home will arrive to preset for one hour visitation prior to mass at 10:00 AM)   Notre Dame Catholic Church 7720 Boone Rd, Houston, Texas   77072.    Following Mass procession will lead to final resting place at Forest Park Westheimer Cemetery (Westheimer at Dairy Ashford).
