Josefina V. (Valdepenas) Bayot

Josefina V. Bayot, 98 years of age, of Sugar Land, Texas passed away on October 2, 2022 in Sugar Land, Texas.    Josefina was born on February 28, 1924 in the Philippines to Jacinto and Maria Valdepenas.   She is predeceased by her parents Jacinto and Maria Valdepenas, her husband of more than 42 years Bonifacio Bayot, her daughter Jane Bayot.

Josefina is survived by her children and their spouses:   Rose and Chris Esmilla, Angelina and Bernardo Valdepenas, Remigio and Eva Bayot, Teresita and Jessie Demdem, Joel and Ace Bayot.     Grandchildren:  Ramon (Alida), Chris Jr. (Donna) Christopher (Tina), Lyca (Bang), Mia, Francis, Ian, Jerwin, Maricel (Tony), Bryan (Mafette), Lorraine, Charles, Julius (Kisses), Steven.     Great Grandchildren:  Victor, Faith, Hannah, Ariana, Nathan, Mila, Brent, Denisse.

Josefina will forever be remembered as a loving Daughter, Wife, Mother, Grandmother, Great-Grandmother, Sister and Friend to those that knew her.   She was a spiritual woman, she loved sewing, she made rosaries for charity, she also enjoyed cooking.

Services will be held on Thursday, October 13, 2022 from 5:00 PM - 8:00 PM at Unity Funeral Home Chapel, 7730 Boone Rd., Houston, Tx   77072.   Friday, October 14, 2022 will be her mass at Notre Dame Catholic Church, 7720 Boone Rd., Houston, Texas   77072.      Funeral Home will preset at 10:00 AM for a one hour view before the mass.   Mass time is at 11:00 AM.   Following the mass, we will leave in procession to Forest Park Westheimer Cemetery for burial.
