Francois Yves Raymond

Mr. Francois Yves Raymond died on Friday, August 30, 2024.   Francois Y. Raymond was born in Cayes, Haiti on December 17th, 1942.   He was the first son of the three children of Elien Raymond and Euphemi Raymond.   He spent his primary school years at the catholic school of Father of Christian Institute.   His secondary school years, he was at Louis Vixama College then, he went to Lycee Philippe Guerrier aux Cayes.   In his early 20's, he got a job as a medicine distributor for the National Service of Eradications of Malaria.   He spent two years in the field.   After those two years, he traveled to the USA.   Most of his life, he worked for various hospitals like Clara Maass Hospital, WIllowbrook Hospital in New Jersey.   In 1980, he went to Mexico to study medicine, a few months later, he abandoned that idea because he hissed his children too much.   He moved to Houston, Texas.   He spent many years working for Methodist Hospital Downtown.

He is survived by his sister Marie Lourdes, his brother Mario, and Emeline, his sons Karl, Francois Jr., his grandchildren KyVon, KyAnna, Khryston, Khaedyn, his nephews, Clifford and his wife Daryann, Gregory and his wife Katherine, his grand nieces Madeline, Grayson, Noelle, Zoe, and his great grandson Adriel, his cousins on his mother's side, Lucienne, Gerard, Gladys, Reynold, Mayence, Lorle, his cousins on his father's side, Osvald, Myrtho, Clarel and a family friend Brenda Crofton.   He was converted to the protestant faith in 2023 and was serving as a servant of the Lord until his final trip to be with the Lord on August 30, 2024.

Visitation will be held at Unity Funeral Home, 7730 Boone Rd., Houston, Tx   77072 on Friday, September 13, 2024 from  7:00 PM  -  9:00 PM.    Funeral service will be held at the Haitian Church of God 2340 Barker Oaks Drive, Suite 200, Houston, Tx. at 10:00 am.   Following service we will leave in procession to Forest Park Cemetery for burial.
