Francisco Flores Moreno

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Francisco Javier Flores Moreno, a devoted husband and loving father, on Sunday, February 2, 2025, at the age of 79. He was married at a young age of 17 to his first wife and produced 5 children-3 boys and 2 girls. After Francisco’s first marriage dissolved, he moved to Houston, TX and met his future loving wife, Dolores Mata at a nightclub. They were inseparable after they first met, and he joined Dolores Mata in marriage on March 19, 1982. He was a wonderful father to Dolores’ stepdaughters Denise and Diana for many years.  Francisco (Javier) and Dolores enjoyed going to church, family events, hanging out with family, playing slot machines, and going dancing throughout their married life. Francisco (Javier) loved being outdoors, buying scratch offs hoping to be the next millionaire, listening to music, eating sweets of any kind, drinking lots of coffee and just going for walks.

He was a wonderful husband, father and grandfather and we will miss his upbeat personality and his unwavering kindness and dedication to his family.

He is survived by his loving wife, Dolores Mata Flores, his daughters:  Diana Forero (Spouse-Joe), Denise Long (Spouse-Randy), Lidia Ayala (Spouse-Horacio), Elva Delia Cruz (Spouse-Jesse) and his sons: Jorge Flores (Spouse-Marixa), Francisco Javier Flores Carrillo (Spouse-Samira) and Jose Alberto Flores Carrillo

He leaves behind 13 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.

A viewing/mass celebration will be held on Saturday, February 22, 2025, from 10 am to 12 pm. The viewing will be held from 10 am to 11 am and the catholic mass will be held from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm:
