Felipe "Jun" Urbina Barredo Jr. 73 years of age, passed away in Houston, Texas on January 27, 2021. He passed away due to a complicated medical condition. Felipe was born in Sta. Maria, Zamboanga city Philippines on January 17, 1948 to Luisa Mariano Urbina and Felipe Falcatan Barredo Sr. There were 13 siblings in total (6 boys and 7 girls. He was preceded in death by his parents, 5 brothers and 4 sisters.
Felipe worked at Museum of Fine arts Houston as a Security Officer for 13 years until the year of 2014 when he retired.
Felipe loved to cook, he loved to sing, loved to watch old classic Filipino and James Bond movies specifically by Sean Connery, he loved listening to country music, he also played solitaire on the computer for passing time. Felipe was a practical joker, he was sociable and good in carrying a conversation.
He is survived by his wife (Elizabeth Macrohon Barredo), his only grandson (Francis Phillipe Barredo Erno), and many other loving family members and friends.

A Public viewing will be held at Unity Funeral Home, 7730 Boone Road Houston, Texas 77072 on Friday, February 12, 2021 from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. in the chapel of the funeral home. A Funeral mass will be celebrated 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, February 13, 2021 at Notre Dame Catholic Church, 7720 Boone Road, Houston Texas 77072, the funeral home will arrive at the church at 9:00 AM for a one hour view prior to mass. After mass, those wanting to go to the cemetery for the burial, it will be at Memorial Oaks Cemetery 13001 Katy Freeway, Houston Texas 77079.
