Eduardo Andres Visaya, of Houston, Texas (Born- July 27, 1942, at Bacarra, Ilocos Norte, Philippines) joined our Creator on February 21, 2023. He had a wonderful 60 years of marriage to his wife, Flordelis Cimatu Acosta. An amazing father to his children, Danny (Stella), Efleda (James), Annabelle (Romulo) & Wivina (Donnell). A loving grandfather to Daniel, Edward, Jaja-Derek, Jayjay+, RB, Romina, Roanne, Wendell & Wayne. Kind great-grandfather to Deirdre, Lucjan, Isaiah & Elijah. A caring brother to sister, Elsa. He will be missed by his cousins, relatives, and friends.
In his early life, he was elected and was awarded by then President Ferdinand E. Marcos as the youngest Barangay Captain. He was a creditor investigator with Adific & Normaco.
He was a board director of Bacarra Electric Cooperative, bank appraiser with Pasuquin Rural Bank, and information editor translator of Finance Intelligence Bureau- Region 1.
He was also an intelligent agent of Economic Intelligence Bureau (EIB) in San Fernando, La Union. He was an elected town councilor of Bacarra, Ilocos Norte from 1992- 2001, migrated to Houston, Texas in 2004. He worked at WALMART until he retired in 2019. He made life worthy because of the qualities he instilled in his children.
He always made sure everybody was happy. Your memories will be forever in our hearts.
You will always be loved, and never be forgotten. His smile will be missed by many. “A life so beautifully lived deserves to be beautifully remembered”.
The family will host a viewing Saturday, March 11, 2023 at St Dominic Church, 8215 Reservoir Dr, Houston, TX 77049. Visitation will begin at 9:30am followed by a mass at 11:00 AM.
