Dewey Tramel Jr. was born in Magnolia Arkansas on December 1st, 1949 to Dewey Trammell Sr. and Anna Mary Trammell. Preceded in death by wife Essie K. Tramel, parents Dewey Trammell Sr. and Anna Mary Trammell, and four siblings: Willie Scott Jr, Infant Trammell, Joyce Trammell, and Kathlene Trammell. He leaves behind his family to cherish his memories, a son; Isaiah Tramel, two stepchildren of more than 35 years; Spencer Rhynes and Rushandra Zackery, three grandchildren; Simone Rhynes, Teandra Zackery, and Keiona Zackery, and two great grandchildren; Kenzel and Aymiah Hunt. Also left to mourn his memory are his three brothers; Royce, Dwayne, and Craig Trammell, and four sisters; Lorraine Williams (Derek) , Earlene Trammell, Denise Trammell, and Alisa Trammell, and a host of nieces and nephews and many friends.
He was known as Papa Dewey to his grandchildren. He loved cooking, working on cars, collecting fine things, and hanging with his buddies. He was a true comedian who said what was on his mind and he wasn’t ashamed to tell you a thing or two about yourself. The life of the party was his title for sure. He provided for his family in many ways and he was always there if you wanted to talk, and he would surely hear you out. Having a conversation with this man will be one of the best you’ve had in your life and it’s nothing but laughs. His wife Essie and his grand kids were close to his heart. He was loved by many and will be truly missed.
