Barbara A. (Bell) Hallberg

Barbara A. Hallberg, 67, passed away peacefully at her Houston home due to complications of ovarian cancer on Thursday, September 26, 2013.  Barbara dedicated her life to caring for her husband and children as a homemaker.  She loved to sew and quilting.  In her later years Barbara made prayer quilts that she donated to the poor.  Barbara is survived by her husband of 46 years, John Hallberg; two daughters, Kristina and her husband Craig and Lori and her husband Alfredo; four grandsons, Jake, Diego, Joaquin and Javier; brother Donald Bell of Danville, CA. A Memorial Mass will be held 2:00 P.M., Thursday, October 3, 2013 at St. Theresa Catholic Church, 115 7^th. St., Sugar Land, TX 77498. The family request that in lieu flowers please make donations to MD Anderson Cancer Center at  PO Box 4486 Houston, Tx. 77210-4486.
