Barbara Marie (Pontiff) Born

Barbara Marie Born, 70, of Houston, Texas passed away on August 14, 2017.     Barbara was born in Franklin, LA on March 25, 1947 to Murphy and Bessie Pontiff.    Barbara is preceded in death by her parents Murphy and Bessie Pontiff, also the love of her life, her husband Alfred Louis Born, Sr.

Barbara loved to travel, she also loved angels and roses.    Barbara was strong in her Catholic faith.   To Barbara, family was everything and she absolutely loved her grandchildren.

She is survived by her three children, Daughter:  Tara,  Sons:  Alfred, and Lang.   She also leaves behind to cherish her memory are her grandchildren Ozzy and Jane as well as siblings and many friends and family.

Visitation will be held on Friday, August 18, 2017 from 6:000 PM until 9:00 PM in the chapel of Unity Funeral Home located at 7730 Boone Rd., Houston, Texas   77072

Graveside service will be held Monday, August 21, 2017 at Houston National Cemetery at 9:00 AM.
