Gerry Lynn Shuman

On Friday, October 19, 2018, Gerry Lynn Shuman passed away at home after a two-month illness with Glioblastoma brain cancer. He was at the age of 77 years. He was born in Toledo, Ohio to Charles and Kathryn Shuman. He is preceded in death by his father, Charles Shuman, and his brother, Terry Shuman.   

Gerry will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 52 years, Ann and his children, Daughter, Mary Kay and her husband, Steve Kutka, Son, Mark Shuman, Daughter, Jennifer Sandoval and fiancé, Frank Chagoya. Gerry will also be fondly remembered by his six grandchildren, Blake, Luke, Jonathan Paul (JP), Frankie, Leslie and Josh (adopted). Also, he will be remembered by numerous sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law and many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Monday, October 22, 2018 from 5:00 PM - 9:00 PM at Unity Funeral Home Chapel, 7730 Boone Rd., Houston, Texas 77072.  Rosary at 6:30 and Wake Service at 7:00.   Funeral mass will be held on Tuesday, October 23, 2018 at Notre Dame Catholic Church at 10:00 AM, located at 7720 Boone Rd., Houston, Texas 77072.

In lieu of flowers you may send donations in memory of Gerry to Notre Dame Catholic Church, 7720 Boone Road, Houston, Texas 77072 for restoration of the Community Center.
