Elvia Yancy Galdamez, 50 years of age of Houston, Texas passed away on Monday, March 25, 2019. Born on February 5, 1969 to Elvira Galdamez in El Salvador. Elvia loved her family and she loved her profession. Elvia was a 3rd grade teacher for many years at Chambers Elementary in Alief ISD, an incredibly gifted teacher, her students, as well as her colleagues loved her, she will forever be missed. Her favorite hobbies were reading and traveling.

Elvia leaves behind many loving family members including her husband Luis, her sons Luis, Diego, and Javier. She also leaves behind her best friend Patricia Villarreal. The memorial service will be held at Unity Funeral Home, 7730 Boone Rd,Houston, Tx 77072 on Saturday, March 30, 2019 from 3:00 PM - 9:00 PM. Mass scheduled to begin at 5:00 PM with Padre Father Alonso Davila officiating.

Elvia amaba a su familia y ella amaba su profesión. Elvia fue maestra de 3er grado durante muchos años en Chambers Elementary en Alief ISD, una maestra increíblemente talentosa, sus estudiantes prosperaron y tanto ellos como sus colegas la amaban. Sus pasatiempos favoritos eran leer y viajar.

Elvia deja atrás a muchos familiares cariñosos, entre ellos su esposo Luis, sus hijos Luis, Diego y Javier. Ella también deja atrás a su mejor amiga Patricia Villarreal.
El servicio conmemorativo se llevará a cabo en Unity Funeral Home, 7730 Boone Rd, Houston, Tx 77072 el sábado 30 de marzo de 2019 de 3:00 PM a 9:00 PM. La misa está programada para comenzar a las 5:00 pm oficiando el padre Alonso Davila.
