John Hallberg Obituary

John Hallberg was born on March 22, 1942 in Galesburg, Illinois.   He moved to Houston, Texas in 1968 where he would remain the rest of his life.   John is survived by his 2 daughters, Kris and Lori, his twin brother Jim, youngest brother Bill (Sheriff) and his sister-in-law Sandy (wife of Tom Hallberg).   Grandsons:   Jake Bamesberger, Diego Espinoza, Joaquin Espinoza, Javier Espinoza.   Niece:   Jennifer Peterson    Nephews:   Rob Hallberg, Marshall Hallberg.

John was a cherished friend and accountant to many.    It is a well known fact that he saved many people hundreds, even thousands of dollars in taxes.   He was truly talented in the art of accounting.   He was extremely humble in his profession, and always did the best for his clients.

John will be missed.  He lived a long life, complete with joy and pain, times of struggle and times of peace, but mostly he lived a life where he was loved and admired by many.   Life is a paradox.  We say John's life has ended, but it has only ended with us.    John will continue his life free from struggles and pain, surrounded by his wife Barbara, brother, friends and family that have gone before him.

A Memorial Service is scheduled at Unity Funeral Home on Monday, February 5, 2024 from 5:00 PM  -  8:00 PM.
