I knew of Angela through Lorena Vela. I am deeply saddened by your loss. I hope these next few lines can be of comfort to you. "I am a thousand winds that blow, I am the the diamond glint on snow. I am the sunlight on ripened grain, I am the gentle Autumn rain. When you wake in the morning hush, I am the swift uplifting rush of quiet birds in circling flight. I am the soft stars that shine at night...look for me in the people I've known and loved. Call me by my old familiar name. Put no difference in your tone. Play, smile, think of me, pray for me. Let there be absolute and unbroken continuity. I have only slipped away into the next room. All is well."

Dear Flores family,
I very sorry for your loss. Angela and I played soccer together in 9th grade. Although we didn’t stay in touch because I moved, and I learned about her story through mutual friends. I remember her as a very outgoing person. I saw her story on the news and I was amazed to see what she had done out of a terrible situation. Her love for live has been very inspirational to me, and through that, I know she will live on in everyone who knew her. Strength, passion for live, love and courage…these are some of the things that come to mind when I think of Angela.

Please accept my sincere condolences for the loss of your loved one. This is one of the most difficult things that we must face. But the bible assures us at Psalms 34:18 that God is near to those broken in heart and those crushed in spirit he saves. He also promises that he will take away from the earth all the pain, suffering and especially death. Revelation 21:3-5
May these bible thoughts bring you comfort at this difficult time.
