Ibrahim Melhem Saliba was born on March 5th, 1930 in Bteghrein, Lebanon. He went to be with his Lord on June 13th, 2010 at 4:00 PM after many years battling multiple illnesses. He leaves behind his wife and friend of 50 years Sonia Saliba. Surviving him are his children Melhem and Nouha Saliba of Sugar Land, TX., Alex & Lisa Saliba of Flower Mound, TX., and Carol Saliba of Houston, TX. Also surviving him are his grandchildren his pride and joy George Hayek, Kevin & Lauren Saliba. Also surviving him are his siblings, Ghousn and Pauline Saliba of Bteghrein, Lebanon, John and Angel Saliba of Richmond, TX., Nina and Kamal Matta of Houston, TX., Nada Shashati of Beirut, Lebanon and Carmen Aoun of Beirut, Lebanon. Ibrahim loved his savior Jesus Christ fervently. He served him unquestionably and with all his might for the last 35 years of his life. The family would like to thank the Arabic Church of Houston and its members along with his friends and family for all the love and support they had given him during his tenure here on earth. Ibrahim Saliba is now enjoying his new life in heaven.
